Prayer Against Violence and War

King of the Nations, we hear every day of warfare and violence all around the globe. We long for peace. We know that these are signs of the end times, but we plead for peace. May we, like Jesus, live lives of mildness and gentleness and humility. Help us to know what we can do to work for peace in our families, in our communities, in our nation, and in our world. May we be instruments of Your peace. In Jesus name. Amen.
