Pastors and ministers have an almost limitless number of duties in their roles as leaders of a church congregation. In addition to being knowledgeable of the Bible and in prayerful communication with God, a pastor:

  • leads by example demonstrating a strong working knowledge of scripture for worship and counsel,

  • prepares and presents the regular worship sermons and messages,

  • provides counseling services for weddings and funerals,

  • shepherds their flock providing counsel and support to church members and

  • challenges church members to follow biblical principles.

Faith Community Baptist Church is blessed to be led by co-pastors Reverend Douglas and Reverend Dr. Katherine Farley.
