Highlights for the Week!

December is associated with themes of rebirth, renewal, and new beginnings. As the last month of the year, it represents a transition point and the closing of one cycle before starting anew. Many cultures and traditions view this time as an opportunity for reflection, purification, and preparing for a fresh start.

CELEBRATING CHRISTMAS AND JESUS

Thought for the Week!

During his life, Jesus was considered to be a radical because he talked to women, spent time with sinners, and allowed his followers to pick grain on the Sabbath.

Scripture for the Week!

Jesus said, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

John 16:33

Prayer for the Week!

Lord, we are grateful for Your Son Jesus and the gift of salvation He offers. As we celebrate His birth during this Christmas season, may our hearts be filled with thankfulness for all You have done. I pray that those who don’t know You will come to understand the true meaning of Christmas and receive Jesus as their personal Savior. I pray that they will be set free from their sin and have eternal life in Your kingdom. In His name, we pray, Amen.
