Women’s History Month
Women’s History Month takes place every year during the entire month of March in the US, the UK, and Australia. This month-long observance is dedicated to education about and celebration of women’s contributions to history, society, and culture. International Women’s Day happens every year on March 8.
Thoughts for the Week!
“There is nothing to make you like other human beings so much as doing things for them.”
Zora Neale Hurston, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority
“Women have always been the strong ones of the world.”
Coco Chanel
Scripture for the Week!
But Ruth said, “Do not urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord do so to me, and more also, if anything but death separates me from you.”
Ruth 1:16-17
Prayer for the Week!
Father God, my heart is filled with chaos and confusion. I feel as if I am drowning in my circumstances and my heart is filled with fear and confusion. I really need the strength and peace that only You can give. Right now, I choose to rest in You. In Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen.
