Highlights for the Week!

October is often associated with themes of change, balance, and harvest, symbolizing the cycle of life and death.

“October is the opal month of the year. It is the month of glory, of ripeness. It is the picture-month.”
Henry Ward Beecher

Thought for the Week!

October is a symphony of permanence and change.”

Bonaro W. Overstreet

Scripture for the Week!

But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect.

1 Peter 3:15

Prayers for the Week!

“Today my prayer to you O’Lord is for consistency, focus, and discipline. Abba father, help me and other Christians to access your strength to move forward and look upwards. I ask for the ability to focus on you and your plans rather than getting entangled in civilian affairs. Thank you God, for stubborn faith to believe despite the reality of the brokenness around. I submit my heart to you father and I stand in the gap for believers everywhere that can’t. Thank you for your help to stay undefiled and pure in your sight. I look to you today Papa for you are a good father and I love and need you.” Amen. CD

Thank you, Father, for the days you taught me yourself, the painful and sweet lessons
